Fire Sprinkler Shop Drawings in NYC
We draw sprinkler mains, branch lines and heads in a coordinated model and turn them into sheets your crew and fab shop can use. Fire sprinkler shop drawings from a team that knows how the pipe goes in.
Sprinkler layouts built into the model
Pipe Dream Solutions produces fire sprinkler shop drawings in NYC and across the region for sprinkler contractors and general contractors. We model the sprinkler system in Revit with the other trades, so the heads, branch lines and mains fit the ceiling that actually exists, not the one on the architect’s sketch.
Sprinkler pipe is often the last to be placed and the first to get moved. Modeling it alongside ducts, plumbing and structure keeps it from being the item that gets squeezed.
What we draw
- Sprinkler mains and cross mains
- Branch lines and arm-overs
- Sprinkler heads laid out to the ceiling plan
- Standpipes and fire pump rooms
- Sections and details at tight spots
Each is placed with real fittings, hangers and clearances.
Hydraulic-ready models
Our models are built so your designer can run the numbers: pipe sizes, lengths, fittings and head locations are modeled accurately and can be handed over for hydraulic work. We do not perform hydraulic calculations and we do not stamp drawings. Your sprinkler designer or engineer of record keeps that responsibility, and we give them a clean, accurate model to work from.
Spool sheets for the fab shop
For prefabrication, we produce spool sheets with pipe and fitting schedules. Each sheet lists the pieces so your shop can cut and assemble off site. The same model produces the lists, so counts tie to your quantity takeoff.
Coordinated with every trade
Sprinkler drawings are run through the same clash detection as the rest of the building. Conflicts are settled before install. You receive PDF sheets, AutoCAD DWG files, Revit RVT models and Excel lists, and we work with contractors in all five boroughs, Long Island, New Jersey and remotely across the US.
Questions
Do you do hydraulic calculations?
No. We build hydraulic-ready models for your designer or engineer to use. We do not perform hydraulic calculations.
Do you stamp the drawings?
No. We do not provide PE or NICET stamping. Your engineer of record handles that.
Can you make spool sheets for our fab shop?
Yes. Spool sheets include pipe and fitting schedules so the shop can cut from them.
Do you coordinate sprinklers with other trades?
Yes. Sprinklers go through the same Navisworks clash runs as plumbing, HVAC and ductwork.
Send us your drawings.
We will show you the risks first.
Upload a few sheets or paste a link to the full set (Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, BuildingConnected, Procore). It goes straight to our team.
